Men's Dinner
For more than 20 years, men with hemophilia have been gathering once a month at a meeting facilitated by the social worker from the Georgetown University Hemophilia Treatment Center. They meet to discuss living with hemophilia, hepatitis and HIV, advocating for the hemophilia community, educating the community about hemophilia and personal issues such as career, education, parenting and grand-parenting. Several times a year guest speakers are invited. Spouse and significant others are also invited on special occasions.
The group is open to all men with hemophilia. The group usually meets on the first Monday of each month at Georgetown University from 6:30 to 8 pm. Dinner is provided. Contact the center at 202-687-5560 for more details.
